Santa Clarita Schools
One of the most important considerations in purchasing a new home is the quality of the neighborhood schools. Individual achievements of the students, and the overall performance of our area’s schools, are indicators of Santa Clarita’s continuing commitment to quality education. Whether your student is just starting school or is about to graduate, Santa Clarita’s schools will help prepare them for college and beyond.
Academic Performance Index (API) averages are one of the primary indicators of the quality of education in California. Performance increased among every school district within the Santa Clarita Valley in 2008 as compared to 2007. 38 schools comprise the elementary school districts and the William S. Hart Union High School District includes19 junior high and high schools. Among the five Santa Clarita school districts are 39 California Distinguished Schools and 11 National Blue Ribbon Schools.
